Delhi Police Special Cell Nabs Wanted ISIS Terrorist from Pune Module

New Delhi, 9th August.
 In a major breakthrough, the Delhi Police Special Cell on Friday apprehended a wanted terrorist affiliated with the Pune module of the ISIS. Officials confirmed that the arrest was made following a secret tip-off received from the Delhi-Faridabad border. An illegal firearm was recovered from the suspect’s possession.

The arrested individual, identified as Rizwan Abdul Haji Ali, is a resident of Delhi’s Daryaganj area. He was on the radar of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which had announced a reward of Rs 3 lakh for information leading to his capture.

Authorities suspect that Rizwan was conducting reconnaissance for a possible attack targeting VIPs based in the Delhi-NCR region. The suspect is currently undergoing interrogation as the investigation continues.
