DELHI MUNICIPAL CORPORATION PROTESTS AGAINST THE DELHI GOVERNMENT

The conflict between the Delhi government and the Delhi municipal corporation does not seem to come to a standstill. All the workers of Rohini Mandal 57 fasted today in a protest against the Delhi government for not giving the outstanding amount of rupees 13000 crore to Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Earlier also in all the 70 Delhi assembly constituencies, the BJP had protested against the Delhi government. This matter is being politicised. On one hand the three mayors of Delhi Municipal Corporation have been besieging the chief minister’s residence since last few days, on the other hand all the workers of Rohini Mandal 57 have organised a fast today.

The protestors of MCD said that they have been denied their funds of Rs. 13000 crore by the Delhi government, due to which many projects of MCD are at a halt. At present, the politics of Delhi is once again at another level due to continuous confrontation between the Delhi government and Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
