New Delhi, 16th Dec. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who is also the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party, will be attending a 10-day Vipassana meditation course next week. This was confirmed by officials on Saturday.
Kejriwal will be leaving for the course on December 19, a day after the conclusion of the winter session of the Delhi Assembly. The location of the course has not been disclosed.
Vipassana is an ancient Indian meditation technique that involves refraining from communication, both verbal and non-verbal, for an extended period in order to improve mental well-being.
Kejriwal has been practicing Vipassana for a long time and has visited various places, such as Bengaluru and Jaipur, in the past to engage in this ancient meditation system.
It is a yearly practice for Kejriwal to attend a 10-day Vipassana course, and this year he will be doing so from December 19 to 30, according to officials.
