New Delhi, 4th May. The book ‘Cyber Crime Against Women’ by Neerja Chaturvedi is a thoughtful approach to create awareness among the public about cyber-crimes.
The book was released in a grand ceremony on April 1 in the auditorium of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi.

The book contains a total 22 articles with help & support of 36 writers (collective research paper publication) which makes it a combined effort of all to create awareness about the cybercrimes. Neerja Chaturvedi and Dr. Jyoti Gaur have jointly edited the research papers.
Neerja Chaturvedi thanked Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti (Regd.) for nominating her as the editor of the book. She further stated, “I am feeling blessed to have cooperation and sincere guidance from Delhi State Legal Services Authority.”
The book contains several articles related to Cyber Crimes against Women in Delhi as well as across the country is an important and sensitive issue and the main reason is the lack of awareness.
This book, ‘Cyber Crime Against Women’ aims at creating a medium to read, discuss, highlight and bring about the change in the scenario of the present world.
Neerja Chaturvedi in her message said, “We aim to come together to work upon solutions, preventions and bring in young minds the new, unique and effective measures which can be implemented in a concrete manner satisfying the true purpose of education, moral values and ideal thoughts. I hope my worthy readers will contribute and make this a global step to eradicate this anomaly from our society.”
Vijay Gaur, Secretary General, Bhagidari Jan Sahyog Samiti applauded the publication of this book on Cyber Crime against Women. He said that it’s a good reminder to the general masses for their daily challenges.
Prof K K Aggarwal, Chairman, NBA, in his message to the book stated, “In this book, an effort has been made to explore the cyber-crimes and the online security vulnerabilities against women and find solutions for the cyber-crime that is emerging as a challenge for national security. I am happy that such intense issues are being discussed and now women can come in open to discuss the same as the duty of victims of cyber-crime, or of any such crime, and report it so that necessary actions can be taken, offenders can be punished, and further crime rate can be decreased.”
