Now or Never : Time to Flush Out Pakistani and Bangladeshi Infiltrators from Indian Soil

Poonam Sharma

The heinous terror attack in Pahalgam that took away 26 innocent lives has not only broken the conscience of the country but also tore apart the dark underbelly of India’s long-term neglect — the unrestrained infiltration and settlement of Pakistani and Bangladeshi citizens on Indian soil.

In a shocking revelation after the government’s crackdown, surprising, 537 Pakistani nationals, nine officials and diplomats among them, slipped out of India in the same period unobtrusively. These figures are not statistics, but a reflection of the total complacency, apathy, and risky appeasement strategies of previous governments that permitted adversaries to reside, work, and flourish inside India’s borders.

As per intelligence estimates, not less than 2 crore illegal Bangladeshi immigrants and more than tens of thousands of residents of Pakistani origin spread throughout the country — from Assam to Delhi, from Bengal to Maharashtra. Thousands have integrated using fake documents, ration cards, voter IDs, and even Aadhaar cards, living under the very noses of a system which prioritized vote banks over national security. The era of soft diplomacy is through. The moment for drastic action has come. Infiltrators: The Quiet Invaders ,The price of this incursion is not only demographic. It is economic, social, and now increasingly violent These illegal immigrants enjoy precious Indian resources — from subsidized food to government healthcare and housing — at the expense of rightful Indian citizens, particularly the poor and marginalized, who are denied their due.

Each Pakistani and Bangladeshi Muslim living illegally in India is a human time bomb waiting to happen — a terror organization recruit waiting to happen, a tool for adversarial states or an agent for socio-political destabilization to happen.

It is no coincidence that areas under heavy loads of illegal migrants — whether West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, or Uttar Pradesh’s border areas — are experiencing increasing communal tensions, crime rates, and cultural disruption. It is an orchestrated demographic warfare, designed to undermine India’s core from within. The Pahalgam massacre is only the latest bloody signature on this slow, silent invasion. The  Criminal Negligence of Past governments and Vote Bank Politics and now the cosequences .How did it come to this? The short answer: decades of political timidity and self-absorbed vote-bank politics. Subsequent governments in Delhi and capitals of states, rather than ensuring India’s sovereignty, opted for appeasement. They facilitated illegal Bangladeshi migrants to settle _en masse,_ especially in neighboring states, inducing them to vote  with promises of ration cards, shelters, and ultimately citizenship illusions.

Even as intelligence agencies warned of Pakistani sleeper cells functioning out of Indian metros and Bangladeshi migrants augmenting criminal gangs, the then-rulers remained tight-lipped. And worse, they criminalized the dissenters who had the temerity to speak up against this incursion — declaring them communal, xenophobic, or anti-secular.Now, the blood of Pahalgam martyrs and countless others is on the hands of those very politicians.

New India, New Resolve: Flush Them Out! In the wake of the Pahalgam tragedy, India’s security doctrine is finally changing radically.

Mass deportations should be done. New databases are being created by intelligence agencies to monitor, isolate, and deport illegal migrants.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has conducted mass raids in sensitive areas to destroy sleeper cells and destroy safehouses. States are being empowered to identify and deport illegal settlers, irrespective of their fake documentation. Checks are being strengthened at borders, particularly in Assam, Bengal, and Punjab. Along with the abovementioned facilities, there is also increasing pressure from citizens and civil society organizations to conduct a countrywide NRC (National Register of Citizens) — not only in Assam, but in each and every state, to separate authentic Indian citizens from intruders. There is no room in India for any Bangladeshi Muslim, any Pakistani Muslim. This is not religion — it is maintaining the sovereignty, economy, and culture of India. Deportation or Destabilization: The Choice is ClearThe reality is harsh but needs to be said without apology: If India doesn’t act now, it will be sentencing future generations to live under the ever-present shadow of terrorism, crime, and demographic annihilation. There must be zero tolerance. They are not refugees. They are gunless invaders.

They are not migrants. They are Trojan horses. And in this battle for Bharat’s very existence, sentimentality must give way to survival.

The great cleansing has started. And this time, the country should not — should not — rest until each and every infiltrator is thrown out.

The blood of our martyrs demands so.
