Congress Claims Murdered Woman Found in Haryana Suitcase Was Party Worker

Rohtak- A massive political controversy has erupted after the body of an unidentified woman was discovered in a suitcase near the Sampla bus stand in Haryana’s Rohtak. The Congress has alleged that the victim is a party worker.

The body, found on Friday, was of a woman aged between 20 and 22, with a scarf wrapped around her neck and mehendi on her hands, police said. Sampla police station SHO Bijendra Singh stated that preliminary investigations suggest she was murdered and dumped by the roadside.

The controversy intensified after Congress MLA Bharat Bhushan Batra claimed that the victim was Himani Narwal, a Congress worker who participated in the Bharat Jodo Yatra alongside Rahul Gandhi. He added that she was closely associated with Congress leaders Bhupinder Hooda and Deepinder Hooda during election campaigns.

Condemning the incident, Congress Haryana president Bhupinder Singh Hooda called it a “blot on the law and order situation” and demanded a high-level, impartial investigation to ensure justice for the victim’s family. The police investigation is ongoing.
