New Delhi, 14th Jan. The India Meteorological Department said on Saturday that a cold wave is likely to hit Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) next week, with the minimum temperature expected to be around 3 degrees Celsius.
The national capital’s minimum temperature on Saturday was 10.2 degrees Celsius, three degrees above the season’s average, according to the weather service.
They predict a partly cloudy sky in the city during the day.
The humidity was 88% at 8.30 a.m., according to the IMD.
According to the IMD, a cold wave will hit many parts of Delhi-NCR between January 16 and 18. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the low temperature in Ayanagar and Ridge may be around 3 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature is expected to be 21 degrees Celsius, according to the forecast.
