‘Co-develop in India for Global Innovation’: PM Modi at CEOs Roundtable

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with top tech industry leaders during a CEOs Roundtable in New York, organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) School of Engineering.

The discussion focused on advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Computing, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, IT, and Semiconductor technologies.

During the event, Modi underscored India’s commitment to becoming the third-largest global economy and invited the CEOs to collaborate in co-developing and producing innovative technologies in India.

He highlighted India’s thriving technology landscape, particularly in sectors like semiconductors, biotechnology, and electronics.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s dedication to protecting intellectual property and fostering a conducive environment for tech innovation.

Tech leaders expressed strong interest in investing in India’s tech ecosystem, acknowledging its rise as a global innovation hub.

MIT’s Dean of Engineering, Prof. Anantha Chandrakasan, who chaired the roundtable, thanked PM Modi and the CEOs, affirming MIT’s commitment to advancing global technology development.

This event reinforced India’s role in driving global technological advancements, supported by its innovation-friendly policies and thriving startup ecosystem.
