CM Yogi Adityanath Launches “Nirbhaya – Ek Pahal” Programme Under Mission Shakti – Phase 3 in Lucknow

Lucknow, 29th Sep. CM Yogi Adityanath has launched “Nirbhaya – Ek Pahal” programme under Mission Shakti – Phase 3 in Lucknow today. On this occasion, a special cover of ‘One District – One Product Scheme’ in collaboration with the Indian Postal Department regarding the ODOP product of the respective district was also released. The Chief Minister also distributed kits to some women.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that security is necessary. He said that different phases had different targets under Mission Shakti. Security was a big challenge in the first phase. First, the Anti-Romeo Squad was formed by the government then Pink booths were set up and then the Shakti Kendra.

CM Yogi said that UP police had negligible no. of women personnel before 2017. We now have 30,000 female constables.Women can boost work of readymade garments & we want UP to become a hub of this. If we can provide them with required supplies, they’ll leave Vietnam & China behind.

He said that there was an atmosphere of chaos before 2017. Families used to be apprehensive of their daughters and sisters venturing out of the house. We first introduced anti-Romeo squads to combat the issue. Through our initiatives, we achieved many goals.

Appreciating the Government’s effort he said, “75,000 women would get connected with state banks, get loans at cheaper interest rates & get benefits of state subsidies under PM Mudra Yojana for 3 months.”

“Nirbhaya – Ek Pahal” Programme

Under the ‘Nirbhaya-Ek Pahal’ program, a one-day awareness program of 1,000 women per district and 3-day skill capacity development training will be conducted in all 75 districts of the state. 75,000 women will be directly benefited through this program. In all 75 districts of the state, a special cover and special deformation will be unveiled and released in collaboration with the Indian Postal Department regarding the ODOP product of the respective district. Thus, 75 special covers will be issued in the state on a single day and time. All these covers will be sent to various post offices in the country, which will give wide national recognition to the ODOP products of the state. Along with youth, the UP government is making many announcements in this election year to directly connect women with Yogi and Modi. The Yogi government is running Mission Shakti Abhiyan for women empowerment and security. The third phase of Mission Shakti was started on Saturday.
