Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel’s Father Nand Kumar Baghel Arrested

Raipur, 7th Sep. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel’s father Nand Kumar Baghel was arrested on Tuesday for making objectionable remarks against Brahmins. After his arrest from Delhi, he was brought to Raipur and presented in the court.
Baghel’s lawyer Gajendra Sonkar said that he has been sent to judicial custody till September 21. He will be produced in court again on September 21. The lawyer said that I was directed not to file the bail application, so today I did not file the application.
A case was registered against Nand Kumar Baghel at DD Nagar police station in Raipur. After the FIR was registered, his arrest was considered confirmed. Along with ordering the registration of the case, CM Baghel said that as the Chief Minister, it is my responsibility to maintain harmony in different communities. If he has commented against a certain community, then I am sorry. Legal action will definitely be taken against him.
