New Delhi, 22nd May. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday said that the BJP-led central government has achieved in 10 years what the Congress could not accomplish in 60 years.
“This election, in its truest sense, is for deciding the future of the country. I can tell you what the Congress could not do in 60 years, we did it in 10 years under Modiji. We have come to you with our report card,” he told the gathering.
Gadkari praised Sehrawat, suggesting that her election would further development efforts.
Highlighting the need for honest leadership, Gadkari stated, “The country does not lack money but honest leaders. Only under able leadership will the country prosper.” He emphasized that addressing Delhi’s air pollution would also reduce medical bills for residents.
At another poll meeting in Moti Nagar, Gadkari supported the party’s New Delhi constituency candidate Bansuri Swaraj, highlighting the positive changes in India under BJP’s leadership. He remembered her mother, the late BJP leader Sushma Swaraj, fondly.
Meanwhile, BJP National President J P Nadda held a roadshow in the South Delhi Assembly Constituency in support of BJP candidate Ramvir Singh Bidhuri. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also joined the campaign trail in Delhi, bolstering support for the party’s candidates.
