Delhi is home to seven Lok Sabha seats, as is well known. This encompasses Chandni Chowk, East Delhi, North-East Delhi, North-West Delhi, South Delhi, and West Delhi in addition to New Delhi. In Delhi, the Congress and the ruling Aam Aadmi Party are in an alliance. But in the election arena, the BJP is by itself. Former Delhi Pradesh BJP President and Bhojpuri film star Manoj Tiwari has been given a ticket by the BJP, originating from North-East Delhi. Kamaljit Sehrawat has been nominated by the BJP for the West Delhi seat concurrently. Instead of choosing Ramesh Bidhuri as its candidate from South Delhi this time, the BJP has chosen Ramveer Bidhuri.
