Jaipur, 12th Dec. Nine days after their resounding victory in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has finally announced Bhajan Lal Sharma as the new Chief Minister of the state.
The decision was made during a meeting at the party’s state headquarters, attended by BJP central observer Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, as well as national vice president Saroj Pandey and national general secretary Vinod Tawde.
Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, along with Union ministers Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Ashwini Vaishnaw, were initially considered frontrunners for the position. However, as the day progressed, other names such as Kailash Chaudhary, Diya Kumari, and Anita Bhadel also emerged as potential candidates.
