BJP Chief Madan Kaushik Denies Reports of Harak Singh Rawat’s Resignation, Says “All is Well”

Dehradun, 25th Dec. BJP chief Madan Kaushik denied the media reports of cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat’s resignation.

Kaushik while denying media reports of cabinet minister Harak Singh Rawat’s resignation from the post of minister said that “All is well.”

Earlier today, it was suspected that Rawat may join the Congress party. The ANI quoted one of its sources from Congress as saying that the minister held several meetings with Congress MLA Pritam Singh in the recent past.

Rawat was in a rift with the Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over “ government inactivity” for a medical college that Rawat proposed for his constituency, Kotdwar. Rawat had walked out of the state cabinet meeting regarding the same after which it was being suspected that the minister may resign from the post.

Now, BJP chief Madan Kaushik has refuted the reports of Rawat’s resignation and called it “rumours”.
