New Delhi, 9th August. The BJP appointed Bilaspur MP Arun Sao as Chhattisgarh party president on Tuesday, as it seeks to strengthen its organisation in the Congress-ruled state ahead of assembly elections next year.
Sao, 53, has taken over for Vishnudeo Sai.
Sao had previously worked for the RSS students’ wing Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) before being elected to Lok Sabha for the first time in 2019.
