New Delhi, 15th Dec.
Full body scanners are set to be installed at the Delhi airport by May 2024, according to a senior official.

The Director General of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Zulfiquar Hasan, also mentioned that the deadline for installing full-body scanners and CTX scanners at certain airports will be extended due to some provisioning issues.

The current deadline is December 31. Once CTX scanners are implemented, passengers will no longer need to remove their electronic devices from their baggage during security checks at airports.
