Kumar Rakesh, New Delhi: Rajya Sabha will discuss the issue of implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act and promises made to the State next week making way for smooth functioning of the House during this Monsoon Session.
A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of leaders of different parties in the Chamber of Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu after the House was adjourned at 1.00 PM for lunch. TDP again found itself in a corner when the opposition leaders again asserted that TDP members cannot go on disrupting the House session after session.
The reluctant TDP had to fall in line sensing the feelings of other opposition parties and demanded adequate time for discussing their demands. Chairman Naidu, the government side and opposition leaders assured TDP Parliamentary Party Leader Y.S.Chowdary and C.M.Ramesh, that a detailed discussion will be enabled.
