Amid Rising COVID-19 Cases in Delhi, DDMA will Hold Meeting on April 20 to Review Current Situation

New Delhi, 15th April. After Delhi saw a continuous surge in the COVID-19 cases in the past one week, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority on Thursday informed that it will hold a meeting on April 20, 2022 to review the current situation in the National Capital.

Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) meeting will be held on 20th April to discuss the current situation in wake of rising cases of COVID19 in the national capital, the official statement read.

LG Anil Baijal, CM Arvind Kejriwal, Dy CM Manish Sisodia, Health Min Satyendar Jain & others will be present in the panel discussion.

The development comes as Delhi on Wednesday reported 299 COVID-19 cases, a surge of 118 percent in two days. The positivity rate stood at 2.49 percent, according to data shared by the city health department. The National Capital had recorded 137 cases on Monday, the data showed.
