Government has called all party meeting in New Delhi today ahead of the Monsoon session of Parliament. Monsoon session of parliament will begin from tomorrow. During the meeting, the Centre will seek Opposition’s support for the smooth conduct of proceedings in both the Houses.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has also called an all-party meet in the evening to seek the co-operation from the floor leaders of different political parties to ensure smooth transaction of business in the House.
Leaders of Opposition parties met in the national capital yesterday to formulate a joint strategy to corner the government on various issues during the session. Ghulam Nabi Azad from the Congress, Sharad Pawar from NCP, Satish Chandra Misra from the BSP, Misa Bharti of RJD, TKS Elangovan of DMK and Mohammed Salim of CPI-M were among those who attended the meeting.
