Chandigarh, 10th Sept. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) released its second list of nine candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections on Tuesday. This follows their initial list of 20 candidates announced on Monday, after seat-sharing negotiations with the Congress collapsed.

In this latest announcement, the AAP has named candidates for constituencies including Indri, Sadhaura, Thanesar, Ratia, Adampur, Barwala, Tigaon, Faridabad, and Bawal. Notable candidates include Hawa Singh for Indri and Pravesh Mehta for Faridabad.

AAP Haryana chief Sushil Gupta confirmed the release of the second list, stating, “We waited for an appropriate time for Congress. We will contest 90 seats with full strength. Our only aim is to oust the corrupt BJP government.” He criticized the BJP for transforming Haryana into a “crime capital” and highlighted the high unemployment rates in the state, asserting that the people are ready for change.

The deadline for filing nomination papers is September 12, with the 90-member Haryana Assembly elections scheduled for October 5. The Congress and AAP previously collaborated in the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi but contested separately in Punjab. In the 2019 Haryana elections, AAP contested 46 seats but did not win any.
