New Delhi, 14th Nov. AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan’s recent bail in the Delhi Waqf Board case reveals Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “false case,” senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh said on Thursday.
A Delhi court granted Khan bail in the money-laundering case, declining to acknowledge the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) charge sheet against him. Singh remarked on X that despite Modi’s efforts, AAP and its leader Arvind Kejriwal remain strong.
Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai also reacted, affirming AAP’s commitment to upcoming Delhi elections, saying, “The truth cannot be defeated.” The ED arrested Khan on September 2 for alleged financial irregularities tied to the Waqf Board, following searches of his Okhla home.
The investigation stemmed from CBI and Anti-Corruption Bureau FIRs linking Khan to alleged Waqf Board misconduct and disproportionate assets.
The ED recently filed a 110-page prosecution complaint, accusing Khan of laundering funds purportedly obtained through corruption in the Waqf Board.
