New Delhi, 13th Jan. On the occasion of Lohri, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a campaign song titled “Dilli Da Putt Kejriwal” to rally Delhi voters in the upcoming assembly elections. The 1.33-minute Punjabi song calls on voters to “Is Vaari Sun Lo, Phir Kejriwal Nu Chunn Lo,” urging them to re-elect Arvind Kejriwal to continue the public welfare initiatives his government has championed.
Lohri, a festival celebrating the harvest season, holds special significance in Punjab and Delhi, making it a fitting occasion for the launch. The song, now trending on X (formerly Twitter), has been widely shared by AAP supporters and celebrates Kejriwal’s achievements in Delhi, including initiatives such as free electricity, water, and the teerth programs for senior citizens.
The track also highlights new promises in the AAP’s manifesto, including the Mahila Samman Yojana, which guarantees Rs 2,100 per month to every woman in Delhi, and the Sanjeevani Yojana, which will cover medical expenses for senior citizens above 60.
With voting for the 70 assembly constituencies in Delhi scheduled for February 5, 2025, and results to be declared on February 8, the party is focused on securing a continued mandate for Kejriwal to ensure the continuation of his developmental vision for the city.
