President Droupadi Murmu to Address Valedictory Function at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy in Mussoorie

Dehradun, 9th Dec. President Droupadi Murmu will deliver the valedictory address at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie on Friday.

She will also be present at Doon University’s annual convocation in Dehradun.

Earlier on Thursday, the President stated that Uttarakhand has enormous potential for ‘nature tourism,’ ‘adventure tourism,’ and’ medical tourism.’

On Thursday evening, she attended a civic reception hosted in her honour by the Government of Uttarakhand in Dehradun.

On the occasion, President Murmu also virtually inaugurated and laid the groundwork for a number of projects related to healthcare, power generation and supply, technical education, and transportation.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami presented the President with a shawl made of Kandali fibre. In addition, the President was given a memento made of a combination of Uttarakhand’s folk art styles Thape and Aipan.

In her address to the gathering, the President stated that the land and people of Uttarakhand have made enormous contributions to Mother India.
