New Delhi, 21st Nov. The BJP on Monday released a sting video purportedly shot by a former AAP volunteer from Rohini in northwest Delhi, alleging that the AAP is selling MCD election tickets.
There was no immediate reaction from the AAP.
The AAP and its chief, Arvind Kejriwal, are deeply involved in corruption, according to BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, who played the video at a press conference here.
Patra said the video was allegedly shot by AAP volunteer Bindu, who was allegedly asked for Rs 80 lakh for an AAP ticket from the Rohini D ward in the MCD polls.
He said the video shows Bindu allegedly discussing money with some alleged AAP leaders.
The video’s authenticity has yet to be confirmed.
Patra said the sting video revealed that 110 AAP tickets were reserved for payment-based distribution.
The MCD elections are set to be held for December 4.
