BJP Mocks Opposition Parties

New Delhi, 8th September. The BJP mocked the Congress’ “Bharat Jodo Yatra” and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Opposition unity pitch as attempts to build their own political profiles.

These parties and leaders, whether it is Mamata Banerjee, Nitish Kumar, K Chandrashekar Rao, or the Congress, lack the capability and strength to form a government, BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi said, adding that their efforts are solely aimed at raising their own political profiles.

“As part of these efforts, the Congress has also started to build its own political profile. It has nothing to do with the BJP. The Congress is perhaps trying to show Nitish Kumar, Mamata Banerjee, KCR and Sharad Pawar that it is present everywhere unlike them. This is an internal affair of opposition parties,” he said.

The Rajya Sabha MP also slammed the Congress, claiming that its divisive vote bank politics based on caste, religion, language, and region worked to break all elements that unified India, Indianness, and Indian culture.

He also slammed Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar, who met with several opposition leaders during his four-day trip to Delhi and emphasized non-BJP unity, saying Bihar’s number three party is talking about forming a “main front” against the saffron party.

Bihar’s two largest parties are the RJD and the BJP.

According to Trivedi, this is nothing more than Kumar’s attempt to raise his political profile.

On Thursday, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and other party leaders began the 3,570-kilometer ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari, marking the start of a difficult journey in which the party hopes to reach out to people and revitalize its organization.
