New Delhi, 6th August. Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Vice President-elect Jagdeep Dhankhar on Saturday to congratulate him on his victory.
J P Nadda, the president of the BJP, also met with Dhankhar at the residence of Union Minister Pralhad Joshi in Delhi.
The meetings took place shortly after Former West Bengal governor and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate Jagdeep Dhankhar, 71, was elected as India’s 14th Vice President on Saturday, defeating joint opposition candidate Margaret Alva by 346 votes.
