A day after Ansar, the main suspect in the Jahangirpuri violence, was arrested, allegations surfaced that he is affiliated with Delhi’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Adesh Gupta, the Delhi BJP chief, made the accusation. He claimed Ansar was a member of the AAP. Gupta also chastised party chief Arvind Kejriwal for harboring rioters within his party.

Several pictures of Ansar being garlanded by people have now surfaced on social media. He was seen wearing the Aam Aadmi Party’s cap. Lawyer Prashant Umarao said of the incident, “Kejriwal’s pet thug, who attacked Hindus in Jahangirpuri.”

“Ansar is an AAP Member who actively campaigned for The Party during the Delhi Elections,” tweeted popular Twitter user Vikrant. Another feather in the party after Tahir Hussain.”

“The primary accused in the rioting case during Hanuman Jayanti celebrations, Ansar, has turned out to be an Aam Aadmi Party worker,” BJP MP Parvesh Sahib Singh tweeted. Tahir Hussain was revealed to be a member of the same party the last time.”

“Arvind Kejriwal, why do you love rioters so much?” he continued. Why is the Delhi government providing them with every possible convenience?”
Ansar was photographed wearing the AAP cap and sitting with a large stockpile of alcohol, according to a Twitter user (@dkranbose). “This guy is affiliated with the AAP and was arrested by cops, but he is linked with Flesh Trade and other illegal trafficking from Bengal to Delhi,” he claimed.

According to BJP National Spokesperson Kapil Mishra, Ansar has connections with Tahir Hussain, Khalid Saifi, and Umar Khalid. The Aam Aadmi Party has yet to respond to the allegations or provide clarification.

Tahir Hussain, an AAP councilor, was involved in the anti-Hindu Delhi riots.

Tahir Hussain, an AAP councilor, was arrested in 2020 for sheltering a hysterical anti-Hindu mob in his Moonga Nagar bungalow. They were seen in their surrounding areas hurling Molotov cocktails and stones from atop Hussain’s house.

Residents claimed that the Muslim mob attempted to vandalise the Shiva temple across the street and burned down the building adjacent to the temple. Tahir Hussain confessed to the Delhi Police that he and his close associate Khalid Saifi planned the riots together.
He had revealed his intentions to use his political position and wealth against the Hindu community.

He assured Saifi that he would always be ready to take any action. Tahir and Khalid met after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Ram Lalla Virajman and the Indian government passed the Citizenship Amendment Act proposed by Home Minister Amit Shah, and decided that now was the time to act.

According to the charge sheet for FIR 114, Tahir and his accomplices were responsible for the burning of several Hindu shops in the Khajuri Khas area.
During the investigation, police discovered that he instigated a mob during the riots of February 24th and 25th, 2020, claiming that Hindus had killed many Muslims and set their shops on fire at Sherpur Chowk.

According to the charge sheet, “At his instance, only 64 live cartridges and 22 empty cartridges were recovered. During questioning, he was unable to account for the remaining 14 live cartridges and 22 empty/fired cartridges, as well as when and where they were fired/used.”
Tahir Hussain was supported by AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, who had justified beheadings for blasphemy.

Amanatullah Khan, an AAP MLA, came out in support of Tahir Hussain in March 2020. He brought up the issue of Muslim victimhood to argue that Tahir Hussain was innocent and was being framed by the government because of his faith.

“Tahir Hussain is now imprisoned because he is a Muslim. Perhaps being a Muslim is the most serious crime in India today, and it is possible that Tahir Hussain was behind the violence in Delhi “He had tweeted.

Last year, an Aam Aadmi Party legislator threatened Swamy Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati, the Mahant of Dasna Temple, with violence over alleged anti-Muslim remarks.

Khan stated in a tweet, ” “Such disrespect for our beloved Prophet Muhammad cannot be tolerated. This heinous insect should have been sentenced to death by severing his tongue and neck. However, the law does not allow us to do so; we have faith in the Indian constitution, and I would like Delhi Police to take note of this.”

In response to his tweet, which calls for the beheading of a temple priest, Delhi Police have also filed an FIR against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan.
