LPG cylinders will be more expensive starting March 1, 2022

According to news source ANI, the price of 19 kilogramme commercial LPG cylinders in Delhi has risen by Rs 105 as of March 1.

As a result of the price rise, the 19-kilogram commercial cylinder would cost Rs 2,012 in the national capital beginning Tuesday.

The price of a 5 kg cylinder has also risen by Rs 27.

A 5 kilogramme cylinder currently costs Rs 569 in Delhi.

As a result of the rise, commercial gas cylinders would now cost Rs 2,089 in Kolkata.

After a 105-rupee rise, commercial gas in Mumbai will now cost Rs 1,962.

In Chennai, the price of a 19-kg commercial gas cylinder increased by Rs 105 to Rs 2,185.5.

Price Trends

In particular, on February 1, ahead of the Union Budget 2022, the National Oil Marketing Company reduced the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 91.50.

On January 1, oil marketing companies reduced the price of a 19-kilogramme commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 102.50.

The price of commercial cooking gas increased by Rs 100 on December 1, putting the cost of a 19-kilogram commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi at Rs 2,101.

This was the second-highest price after 2012-13, when the commercial cylinder cost around Rs 2,200 per cylinder.
