New Delhi, 2nd March. As many as 31 students hailing from Rajasthan reached Delhi on Tuesday in two flights of Indigo Airlines that reached the National Capital carrying stranded Indians in Ukraine.
These students were welcomed at the Delhi airport by the Principal Residential Commissioner of Rajasthan Shubhra Singh, Additional Housing Commissioner Vimal Sharma and Assistant Housing Assistant Rinku Meena.
Shubhra Singh said that out of these 31 students, all arrangements have been made for 21 to stay overnight in Rajasthan House, five students who are from Udaipur will be sent to Udaipur by air from Delhi airport tomorrow morning. The rest will be sent to their destinations through taxis and trains.
She said that the state government has made all the arrangements at the state expense to bring back these students trapped in Ukraine safely and then safely from the airport to their homes.
We are committed to providing whatever assistance can be given to these students, she said.
