Lawyer Shot Dead Inside Court Premises in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh

Shahjahanpur, 18th Oct. A lawyer was shot dead inside the Shahjahanpur Civil Court in UP on Monday following the Delhi court incident. The incident took place on the third floor of the court and lawyer Bhupendra Pratap Singh was shot dead with a country-made gun.
On getting information about the incident, the Sadar police reached the spot and recovered the pistol.
The motive behind the crime is not yet known, but local lawyers say it could be related to rivalry in the cases being settled by the lawyer. The body has been sent for post-mortem and detailed information is awaited.
