Satya Pal Jain Urges Youth to Embrace Cultural Heritage at ‘Path Finder-2’ Event

Chandigarh: Satya Pal Jain, Former Member of Parliament from Chandigarh and Additional Solicitor General of India, called on the youth to take pride in India’s rich cultural heritage, emphasizing that no other nation or civilization can boast such a legacy.

Speaking as the Chief Guest at the inaugural session of the two-day ‘Path Finder-2’ competition held at the Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landra,  Jain addressed an enthusiastic audience of students from various institutions.

The event, aimed at fostering talent among youth, saw participants from diverse backgrounds, with many coming from villages and towns. Jain highlighted the importance of such competitions, especially for those from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, as a platform to showcase their abilities. He commended Deepak Gupta, the event organizer, and the team at the college for their efforts in providing such opportunities.

Upon his arrival at the college, Jain was warmly received by Deepak Gupta, Director of the Institute Prof. Hrishikesh, along with the college staff and prominent members of the organization.

Jain also extended his admiration to Chandigarh College President, Satnam Singh Sandhu, for earning the trust of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a recognition that brings pride to the entire community.

Reflecting on India’s cultural values, Jain reiterated that the country’s tradition is grounded in the principles of equality among all religions, promoting mutual respect, and a philosophy of ‘live and let live.’ He underscored that India’s culture not only seeks happiness for itself but extends goodwill towards all of humanity and living creatures.
