New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu on Sunday extended warm greetings to citizens in India and abroad on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In her message, the President highlighted the significance of Eid-ul-Fitr as a festival that marks the end of Ramadan and fosters a spirit of brotherhood, cooperation, and compassion. She emphasized that the festival strengthens social bonds and inspires people to work towards a harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous society.
“Eid is an occasion to promote the spirit of empathy, compassion, and charity. May this festival bring peace, progress, and happiness in the lives of all and give us strength to move forward with a positive attitude,” the President said.
Eid-ul-Fitr, celebrated after a month of fasting and prayer, is one of the most significant festivals for the Muslim community and symbolizes unity and generosity.
