Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Calls for Collective Efforts to Eradicate Social Evils
New Delhi- Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla emphasized the need for collective efforts to eliminate societal evils while attending a Maha Shivratri event at the Brahma Kumaris World Headquarters in Mount Abu.
He urged people to take steps toward building a better society, stating that a just world order would prevail once social evils are eradicated.During the event, Birla inaugurated the Dadi Prakashmani Wisdom Park and attended the Navsrijan Aqua Laser Show as the chief guest. He praised the Brahma Kumaris for their contributions to nation-building and their blend of tradition and science in fostering spiritual and social transformation.
Highlighting the organization’s initiatives, including environmental protection, anti-drug campaigns, rural development, disaster management, and women empowerment, the Speaker lauded their role in creating a peaceful and enlightened society.
He called for unity, peace, and prosperity, urging individuals to contribute to nation-building through knowledge and spirituality.
The event was attended by Members of Parliament Shri Lumbaram Choudhary and Dr. B.P. Reddy, along with other dignitaries.
