Kamle, Arunachal Pradesh – Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar emphasized India’s transition from the ‘Look East’ to the ‘Act East’ policy, bringing rapid development to the Northeast, particularly in Arunachal Pradesh.
Speaking at the First Ever Joint Mega Nyokum Yullo Celebration in Kamle district, he highlighted advancements in infrastructure, connectivity, and digital expansion in the state.
Dhankhar noted that Arunachal Pradesh holds the potential to generate 50,000 MW of power, presenting investment opportunities worth ₹5 lakh crore. He commended Union Minister Kiren Rijiju’s role in driving development, particularly the ambitious Frontier Highway project.
Asserting India’s growing global stature, the Vice-President stated, “India is a strong nation; no one can cast an evil eye on it.” He also underscored the country’s cultural unity, drawing parallels between Nyokum Yullo and festivals celebrated nationwide.
The event saw the presence of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, local MLAs, and prominent community leaders, marking a significant occasion in the state’s cultural calendar.
