Grand Celebration at PGI on Guru Ravidas Janmotsav; ASG Satya Pal Jain Pays Obeisance

Chandigarh, 17th Feb. A grand event was organized at PGI to mark the birth anniversary of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji on February 12, 2025. The occasion witnessed the presence of Additional Solicitor General of India Satya Pal Jain as the chief guest, who paid obeisance to Guruji. Hundreds of devotees, including prominent figures like Jaspal Singh, Satish Garg, cardiologist Neelam Dahiya, and Mamta Dogra, also offered their prayers.

Addressing the gathering, Satya Pal Jain emphasized that Shri Guru Ravidas Ji’s teachings transcend caste and are meant for the welfare of all humanity. He acknowledged the efforts of Shri Guru Ravidas Sabha in serving people from across the country, particularly patients seeking treatment at PGI, by providing accommodation and assistance.

On this occasion, Shri Guru Ravidas Sabha felicitated Satya Pal Jain, Jaspal Singh, social worker Satish Garg, industrialist Kishore Chahal of Phagwara, cardiologist Neelam Dahiya, and Mamta Dogra for their contributions. The honored individuals pledged their continued support to the Sabha in its humanitarian initiatives.

Sabha President Premchand, Chief Patron Sardar Uttam Singh, and Chairman Dr. R.P. Singh announced that the Sabha will also celebrate the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on April 14, 2025, with grandeur.

The event concluded with devotional hymns and a communal meal, reflecting the values of equality and social harmony preached by Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.
