India to Be Naxal-Free by March 2026: Amit Shah After Bijapur Encounter

New Delhi, 10th Feb. In a major success for security forces, 31 Naxalites were eliminated in an operation in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Union Home Minister Amit Shah described it as a crucial step toward making India Naxal-free and reaffirmed that Naxalism will be eradicated from the country by March 31, 2026.

Taking to ‘X’, Shah praised the security forces for their decisive action and confirmed the recovery of a large quantity of weapons and explosives. However, he also mourned the loss of two brave soldiers in the operation, stating that the nation will always remain indebted to them.

The Union Home Minister extended his condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers and reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring that no citizen loses their life to Naxal violence in the future.
