VP Dhankhar to Visit Chennai on Jan 31 for 3rd National Conference of the Deaf-Blind

New Delhi, 29th Jan. Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar will visit Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on 31st January 2025. During his visit, he will be the Chief Guest at the 3rd National Conference of the Deaf-Blind on Advocacy for Education, Accessibility, and Wellbeing.

The event, organised by the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (Divyangjan), Chennai, aims to address critical issues related to education, accessibility, and overall wellbeing for the deaf-blind community. The Institute operates under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India.

This conference serves as a significant platform for advocating the rights and needs of persons with multiple disabilities, focusing on enhancing their quality of life through improved education and accessibility measures.
