PM Modi Distributes Over 71,000 Appointment Letters Under Rozgar Mela

New Delhi, 24th Dec. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today distributed more than 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Central Government departments and organizations during the Rozgar Mela. Conducted via videoconferencing, the initiative reflects the government’s focus on employment generation and youth empowerment.

Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi emphasized the role of youth in nation-building and highlighted the transparency in recruitment processes over the past decade. He noted that nearly 10 lakh permanent government jobs have been offered during this period, marking a record achievement.

The Prime Minister also underlined the transformation in India’s economy, positioning the nation as the fifth-largest economy and the third-largest startup ecosystem globally. With initiatives like Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Digital India, the government has created diverse opportunities across sectors, empowering young entrepreneurs and professionals alike.

Addressing rural employment, PM Modi highlighted schemes like Gobar-Dhan Yojana, e-NAM, and the establishment of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), which have generated jobs in the agricultural sector. Women’s empowerment was another focus, with the PM acknowledging initiatives like Mudra Yojana and Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam, which have enhanced women’s participation in the workforce.

The event saw recruits joining roles in key ministries, including Health, Education, and Home Affairs. Rozgar Melas are being organized at 45 locations nationwide to connect young talent with opportunities to contribute to India’s development journey.

PM Modi encouraged the new appointees to continue learning and leverage platforms like iGOT Karmayogi for skill development, ensuring they excel in their roles. “Your hard work has brought you here. Now, your dedication will help drive India’s growth,” he concluded.
