Prime Minister Modi Conferred with Kuwait’s Highest National Award

Kuwait, 22nd Dec. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honored with the prestigious Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer, the highest national award of Kuwait, by Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait. The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister of Kuwait.

In a gesture of gratitude, Prime Minister Modi dedicated the award to the enduring friendship between India and Kuwait, the Indian community in Kuwait, and the 1.4 billion people of India.

This historic moment was especially significant as it marks the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Kuwait in 43 years. The Order of Mubarak Al-Kabeer, established in 1974, has been awarded to distinguished global leaders over the years.
