New Delhi, 14th Nov. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, on his birth anniversary today. Marking the occasion, PM Modi posted a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, honoring Nehru’s legacy.
“On the occasion of his birth anniversary, I pay homage to our former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru,” PM Modi wrote in the post shared early on Wednesday morning.
Pandit Nehru, a prominent leader in India’s independence movement and a central figure in shaping the country’s early policies, is commemorated annually on November 14, which is also celebrated as Children’s Day across the country in his honor.
