Yogi Adityanath Slams SP as ‘Production House of Criminals’

Lucknow, 10th Nov. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a fierce attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) on Sunday, calling it the “Production house of Dangai (rioters) and Apradhi (criminals).” Speaking at an election rally in Katehari, Ambedkar Nagar, ahead of the November 20 bypolls, Adityanath accused SP of harboring criminals and mafia members within its ranks.

“SP talks about PDA, but let me redefine it for you,” Adityanath said. “It’s the Production House of Dangai and Apradhi. Every notorious criminal, every rapist, and every mafia don is born here. Akhilesh Yadav is the CEO, and Shivpal Yadav is the trainer,” he added, while also accusing the party of instilling fear in women across the state.

The Chief Minister referred to infamous criminals like mafia don Atiq Ahmed and Khan Mubarak, alleging their association with the Samajwadi Party’s criminal network, which was allegedly “shut down” by the BJP’s “double-engine” government.

Responding to Adityanath’s remarks, Akhilesh Yadav countered with a call for accountability on the issue of fertilizer distribution to farmers. He also pointed out the struggles farmers face in the state, with long queues for fertilisers, particularly for Diammonium Phosphate (DAP).

Continuing his attacks, Adityanath claimed the SP party nurtured mafia figures such as Mukhtar Ansari and Atiq Ahmed and pointed out the party’s history of violence, including the infamous 2006 murder of MLA Krishnanand Rai, allegedly orchestrated by the SP.

Adityanath also highlighted the BJP’s accomplishments in Uttar Pradesh, mentioning the development of medical colleges, universities, and infrastructure like the Maa Vindhyavasini Dham Corridor in Mirzapur, contrasting it with the lack of such progress under the Samajwadi Party rule.

In another sharp criticism, Adityanath condemned the SP’s recent praise for Pakistan’s Jinnah and criticized its failure to honor leaders like Suheldev, citing the BJP’s focus on state development over family politics.

The by-elections are being held for nine assembly seats across Uttar Pradesh, with intense competition between the BJP and SP. Adityanath’s remarks reflect the high stakes in the state as the BJP seeks to secure its dominance ahead of the polls.
