Bhopal, 14th Oct. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s election committee convened on Monday to evaluate potential candidates for the upcoming by-elections in Madhya Pradesh’s Budhni and Vijaypur assembly seats. These seats were vacated following the resignations of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Congress MLA Ramniwas Rawat.

Chouhan currently serves as the Union Agriculture Minister, while Rawat, after leaving the Congress, joined the BJP and was appointed as the state’s forest and environment minister.

The list will now proceed to the party’s central election committee for final approval.
