Gallantry Awards: 10 Kirti Chakras, 26 Shaurya Chakras Awarded by President Murmu

The ceremony saw the awarding of 10 Kirti Chakras (seven posthumously) and 26 Shaurya Chakras (seven posthumously).

Every year, soldiers and officers from the Indian Army, CRPF, ITBP, and police are recognized for their acts of valor with various gallantry awards.

President Murmu presented the Kirti Chakras and Shaurya Chakras posthumously to seven members of the security forces each.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, and several other ministers.
