Mumbai, 2nd July. Luv Sinha, son of TMC MP & Actor Shatrughan Sinha, has finally addressed the speculation surrounding his absence from the wedding ceremony of his sister, Sonakshi Sinha, who tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal on June 23.

Amidst swirling media rumors, Luv has clarified that his decision not to attend was rooted in his reluctance to associate with certain individuals. This statement may create new controversy about wedding of Sonakshi with Muslim boy Zaheer Iqbal.

Meanwhile, TMC MP and actor Shatrughan Sinha attempted to do damage control by addressing concerns, stating that he is pleased with his daughter Sonakshi’s recent marriage. “Everything went smoothly, and I am grateful to the Almighty that my daughter is now happily married. As for those who may not share in our joy, I have no further comment,” he remarked.

In a recent statement shared via social media, Luv referenced an article from The Telegraph that delved into alleged concerns regarding the groom’s father. The article hinted at controversies surrounding Zaheer Iqbal’s father, including purported links to a politician under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate.

“The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what,” Luv asserted. He expressed appreciation for the media’s diligent research, contrasting it with what he described as potentially misleading narratives spread by PR teams.

Sonakshi and Zaheer’s registered marriage took place in an intimate ceremony at Sonakshi’s Bandra residence, followed by a lavish celebration at Mumbai’s Bastian, attended by close family and friends. Despite initial speculation, Sonakshi’s parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, were present at the reception.

Meanwhile, Luv’s brother, Kussh Sinha, clarified that he did attend the ceremony, emphasizing that it was a sensitive time for the family. Speaking to News 18, Kussh expressed his best wishes for his sister and her new journey with Zaheer Iqbal.
