New Delhi, 21st May.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal faced huge lash back from BJP President J P Nadda over his alleged silence regarding the assault on Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at the CM’s residence. Nadda’s remarks came during a roadshow in support of BJP candidate Bansuri Swaraj in the New Delhi constituency.

Nadda, addressing the crowd, asserted that the prevailing atmosphere in the country and Delhi favors blessing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He predicted a resounding victory for the BJP, with over 370 seats for the party and more than 400 seats for the NDA. Nadda emphasized the BJP’s strong prospects in all seven Delhi constituencies.

Accusing Kejriwal and AAP of dishonesty and deception, Nadda highlighted the alleged assault incident involving Maliwal as indicative of their “double standards.” He referenced past incidents, including the assault on the former Delhi chief secretary at Kejriwal’s residence, to underscore what he called AAP’s modus operandi.

Nadda condemned Kejriwal’s silence on the Maliwal assault, labeling it as evidence of his “dual character and double standards.” He asserted that Kejriwal’s credibility has been tarnished, leaving no hope for positive change under his leadership.

The BJP president’s remarks come amidst a political tussle between the BJP and AAP in the run-up to the elections, with allegations of misconduct and criticism being exchanged between the parties.
