Varanasi, 14th May. On Tuesday, May 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present his candidacy for the Lok Sabha election of 2024 from the Varanasi seat in Uttar Pradesh. Offering prayers at Dashwamedh Ghat, Modi filed his nomination papers beforehand.
Between 11:40 am and 12 pm, the prime minister will submit his nomination documents from Varanasi. Nonetheless, the timing of his paperwork filing has a fortunate connotation.
Why May 14th Only?
May 14 is Pushya Nakshatra and Ganga Saptami coincidentally. Astrologer Pandit Rishi Dwivedi claims that the combination exists because of the planets’ positions in the Vedas.
It is said that carrying out any kind of labor on this day will result in one’s wishes coming true.
“Any work undertaken during Pushya Nakshatra is guaranteed to be completed,” he stated.
Modi will visit the Baba Kaal Bhairav shrine after Namo Ghat to make prayers and pick up his nomination file. The prime minister is expected to meet with ministers and party workers after filing papers from Varanasi.
“My relationship with my Kashi is amazing, inseparable and incomparable… all I can say is that it cannot be expressed in words!” Modi wrote on X before submitting his nomination.
Modi staged a massive roadshow on a six-kilometer stretch of Varanasi on Monday night.
Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, the head of the BJP state, and Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, joined him.
Along with Adityanath and other BJP officials, the prime minister said prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham following the tour.
The seventh and final phase of the Lok Sabha election 2024 will take place on June 1 in Varanasi, a bastion for the BJP and Modi.
