Jaipur, 23rd April. Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his lashing at the Congress party, alleging its involvement in a clandestine plot to seize and redistribute wealth among select individuals.
Speaking at a rally in Tonk, Modi referenced his recent remarks on wealth redistribution made in Banswara, Rajasthan, which he claimed had incited anger from the Congress and its INDI Alliance.
Modi asserted, “I have exposed the truth that Congress is scheming to confiscate your wealth and distribute it among a chosen few.”
He highlighted the backlash he faced for unveiling what he termed as the Congress’s vote bank politics, labeling it as appeasement tactics.
The Prime Minister further challenged the Congress’s reluctance to confront the truth, questioning their fear of transparency regarding their policies. He pointed to statements in the Congress manifesto and speeches advocating wealth surveys and X-ray examinations of wealth, suggesting a hidden agenda that is now exposed.
Modi also slammed the Congress’s governance, alleging that under their rule, it has become difficult to freely practice one’s faith. He claimed that even listening to the Hanuman Chalisa, a Hindu religious hymn, is deemed a crime under Congress administration.
These remarks from Modi coincide with Hanuman Jayanti, a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Hanuman.
The Prime Minister’s address underlines the escalating political tensions between the BJP and Congress, with both parties engaging in a war of words ahead of crucial elections.
