Lucknow, 18th April. As the nation gears up for the first phase of polling in the Lok Sabha elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati has issued a fervent appeal to the electorate, urging them to exercise their democratic right and pave the way for a “pro-Bahujan” government.

In a statement posted on social media platform X, Mayawati stressed the significance of voting as a powerful tool for marginalized communities to seize control of their destiny.

In her message, Mayawati emphasized the transformative potential of voting, describing it as the “master key to power” that empowers the downtrodden segments of society to rise above their circumstances.

She called upon voters to cast their ballots without hesitation, with a view to ushering in a government that prioritizes the interests of the poor, the working class, and the marginalized.

“I appeal to you strongly to exercise your valuable constitutional right to vote fearlessly in the first phase of polling for the seven-phase elections for the 18th Lok Sabha, and elect a government that stands unwaveringly in support of the Bahujan community,” Mayawati conveyed in Hindi through her social media post.
