Wellington, 9th April. Addressing officers undergoing the 79th Staff Course at Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Wellington, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Manoj Pandey highlighted the ongoing rebalancing and restructuring initiatives within the Indian Army, alongside significant Human Resource reforms.
During his visit on April 8, 2024, the COAS engaged with student officers from the Indian Armed Forces and Friendly Foreign countries, along with the permanent staff of DSSC. In his address, Gen Manoj Pandey underscored the diverse security challenges faced by the nation and emphasized the importance of adapting to evolving threats.
Specifically, he elaborated on the imperative of staying updated with the latest technological advancements and the evolving nature of warfare. The COAS emphasized the necessity for officers to maintain synergy and jointmanship across all three services, reflecting the overarching goal of enhancing operational effectiveness.
