Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2023-24 to be Opened for Subscription from Dec 18-22

New Delhi, 16th Dec. The subscription for Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24 (Series III) will be open from December 18-22, 2023, according to the Government of India Notification No.4(6)-B(W&M)/2023 dated December 08, 2023. The settlement date for these bonds will be December 28, 2023.

During the subscription period, the bond will be priced at ₹6,199 (Rupees Six Thousand One Hundred Ninety Nine only) per gram, as stated in the RBI’s Press Release dated December 15, 2023.

The Government of India, in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India, has decided to offer a discount of ₹50 (Rupees Fifty only) per gram from the issue price to investors who apply online and make payment through digital mode.

For these investors, the issue price of the Gold Bond will be ₹6,149 (Rupees Six Thousand One Hundred Forty Nine only) per gram of gold.
